Fernandes Sustainer System for Guitars

I used to previously have an Ebow, and loved it. However, holding it in your hand, setting it down, picking it up, made it not as easy to use for when I wanted to switch into long, legato, sustain heavy parts. Fernandes offers a system, called the “Fernandes Sustainer System” that allows you to use your guitar freely, as if it had a built in Ebow. They sell the guitars (nice ones) with the system pre-installed, or aftermarket kits to add to your pre-exisiting guitar. The patented Fernandes Sustainer system generates a magnetic field causing the strings of the guitar to vibrate. Powered by a 9-Volt battery, the interaction of the bridge humbucking pickup, the Sustainer Circuit Board and the neck Sustainer Driver pickup, projects magnetic pulses that continuously vibrate the strings of the guitar, the same way an amplifier at extreme volume would do, yet totally controlled.
